Owner/ Clinical Director

Dr. Karen Morrow

I am a licensed therapist who has had the privilege of working with adolescents and adults for over thirty years. I work with individuals who have been diagnosed with mild disorders, severely emotionally disturbed, and chronic or severe mental illness. I have worked in an array of settings, including outpatient settings, school based, and residential care facilities. In these various settings, I’ve had the opportunity to assist clients with managing symptoms ranging from anxiety, depression, anger management, mood disorders,  auditory hallucinations, and paranoid thoughts to behavioral problems, adolescent maladaptive sexual behaviors, criminogenic thoughts and behaviors to sexual offenses.

I have a unique skill set and knowledge that comes from working with and within the judicial system. I’ve assisted families and children involved with the Juvenile Court. I am trained in working with trauma which brings a variety of emotions that can be difficult to articulate. I combine my training and understanding of behavioral and mental health with your experiences and needs to create a beneficial and progressive therapeutic relationship.

I’m a therapist who is committed to helping all of my clients discover (or rediscover) their potential to live happier and more fulfilled lives. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals, and my personal style of therapy is warm, accepting, and honest. I especially enjoy working with: individuals who struggle with anger, youth with behavioral problems, and partnering with individuals to effectively manage personality disorder diagnoses.

I have received evidenced based education and specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), anger management, and decreasing criminogenic thoughts and behaviors. I welcome a variety of individuals and issues, and enjoy seeing my clients flourish after they have completed their individualized treatment.

If you’re ready to take the next step towards personal growth, I am ready to support you on your journey. Please feel free to reach out to me today. I offer in-person treatment or tele-mental health.

“If you feel lost, disappointed, hesitant, or weak, return to yourself, to who you are, here and now and when you get there, you will discover yourself, like a lotus flower in full bloom, even in a muddy pond, beautiful and strong.”
